HH#1 — Job 29:6

Introducing a letter tile board we have in the hallway of our home. It’s a simple passing place for a truth, reminder, or challenge in the chaos of our daily grocery bag unloads, impromptu dance parties, and toddler break downs.

From today’s sermon at The Woods Church, we were reminded “when favor is present you don’t have to force it (things)…favor reveals timing.” In Job 29:6, the author is recalling the ease of his life’s journey when we walked in the unforced rhythm of God’s favor. He described his steps as “washed in butter and cream”. Ease of favor won’t guarantee easy, but faith ensures peasy (peace).
